Overview
Commercial property developments? That's the way Crescent rolls. Crescent Resources manages land holdings, mostly in the Southeast and Southwest US, and uses them to develop commercial and residential real estate. Its holdings include office buildings, industrial projects, and retail developments. Residential properties such as single-family home communities, condominiums, and apartments are developed by its Crescent Communities arm. It also invests in tracts of land to sell off in pieces. Commercial clients have included General Electric, BellSouth, Lanier Worldwide, and CIGNA. Crescent emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June 2010 after eliminating more than $1 billion of debt.
